This confidential engagement focused on an AI-enabled ICU platform. The work addressed how doctors and nurses interpret organ-level clinical data, how the interface distinguishes AI-generated information from manual amendments, and how a family-facing view could support understanding of a patient's condition.
Challenges
The platform needed to represent the condition of each organ clearly while supporting high-pressure clinical decisions. The experience also required an explicit boundary between AI interpretation, clinical data and clinician-authored amendments.
Design Responsibility
I worked through the clinical data model and ICU workflows in detail, defining how organ-level information should be structured, compared and communicated for clinicians, with a separate route for family comprehension.
