An AI-enabled ICU platform associated with 149 clinical hours reclaimed per day.
This confidential engagement focused on an AI-enabled ICU platform. The work addressed how doctors and nurses interpret organ-level clinical data, how the interface distinguishes AI-generated information from manual amendments, and how a family-facing view could support understanding of a patient's condition.
Challenges
The platform needed to represent the condition of each organ clearly while supporting high-pressure clinical decisions. The experience also required an explicit boundary between AI interpretation, clinical data and clinician-authored amendments.
Design Responsibility
I worked through the clinical data model and ICU workflows in detail, defining how organ-level information should be structured, compared and communicated for clinicians, with a separate route for family comprehension.
PurerAir
An integrated brand, website and app experience for environmental intelligence.
PurerAir is an air-quality and environmental monitoring company developing tools that make invisible environmental conditions easier to understand. Its sensor, app and data ecosystem helps people access real-time information about the air around them.
Challenges
PurerAir combines hardware, software, environmental data and emerging technology. The challenge was to communicate the product's scientific credibility without making the experience feel inaccessible or overly technical.
Design Responsibility
I shaped PurerAir's brand and website, designed the user experience for its app and continue to support the organisation as an ongoing digital partner. The work connects product storytelling, data communication and user experience across the wider ecosystem.
